Finally the first issue of The European Journal of Philosophy in Arts Education 2018 is out. And it is a very exciting issue with articles treating diverse topics such as musical improvisation in schools, arts based reesearch through peotry, preparing expressive performances with singers, interpretation and relational aesthetics. All articles have a focus on music in this issue, but many of the thoughts and reflections are as relevant for teaching in any of the arts.

The authors in this issue are Carl Holmgren, Shawn Michael Condon, Christina Larsson, Johan Öhman, Torill Vist and Kari Holdhus.
